I completed my undergraduate training and initial cardiology training in India and was awarded MRCP London in 1998. After intense postgraduate training in general and interventional cardiology in South-West of England, I obtained my Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).
My research was very important and was on stem cells contributing the healing of heart muscle after a heart attack in Wythenshawe, Manchester. I was awarded MD by the University of Manchester in 2008.
I have been practicing as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at University Hospitals Plymouth in 2009 and perform high volume angioplasties and Transcatheter Aortic valve implantation (TAVI) procedures with an excellent outcome.
I am currently a member of British Cardiac Interventional Society (BCIS), British Cardiac Society (BCS) and Fellow of Royal College of Physicians London (FRCP).
