From roundabout on A386 take exit signposted Derriford
Hospital. As you past the Nuffield Health Club at the next miniroundabout take a right towards Derriford hospital. Before
approaching the main hospital entrance take a right hand turn
signposted ‘Peninsula Heart Clinic’. You will see the orthopaedic
centre directly ahead with the multi-story car park on the right
hand side. From the multi-storey car park it is a short walk down
the road past the maternity centre on the left to the heart clinic.
Alternatively you may wish to follow signs to the main entrance
where there will be further signposting. We also provide a small
drop-off area outside the clinic, but parking is limited in this area
so please allow sufficient time for your appointment.
Public Transport
Bus – Timetables can be obtained from First Stop at the Civic
Centre, from public libraries and from Citybus travel shops.

Park and Ride – There is a public park and ride site located north
of the hospital at the George junction (opposite the George Pub/
Hotel). It is open from 6.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. and parking is
FREE, although you will need to purchase a ticket to travel on
the bus. This is ideal for patients and visitors travelling from the
north of the City to Derriford hospital. Take the Citybus PR3
which runs every 20 minutes or take the Stagecoach 100 or 101
which runs approximately every 15 minutes. For further

Car Parking
Parking is available in a number of car parks. Some are pay
and display and some are pay on exit. Please see local
parking arrangements on the next page. It is recommended
that patients/visitors park in the multi-storey car park as this
is the closest to the heart clinic. We also have a small
number of disabled parking spaces alongside our clinic. If
you are a private patient please contact our team.
By Air
We are 51 miles from Exeter Airport with a journey time by
car of 50 minutes. Head south along the A38 Devon
Expressway. We are 46 miles from Newquay airport with a
journey time of 1 hour. Head along the A30 and then pick up
the A38 at Bodmin.
