Appointed in 2004 after completing my training at St George’s hospital, London.
Clinical Interests
I have performed over 5000 diagnostic coronary angiograms and graft studies including arterial conduits. I have performed over 2000 PCI procedures (angioplasty) including pressure wire studies, rotablation, shockwave, intravascular ultrasound and OCT, all with good outcomes. I insert permanent pacemakers and have experience of congenital heart disease as well as managing a wide range of general cardiology conditions.

I have published in many major journals and have been the Principal Investigator (PI) on several multicentre trials. Currently I am recruiting to the Orion IV study
I have a number of appointments supporting medical education locally and nationally including the Royal College of Physicians Specialty Advisory Committee, BCIS Training and Education Group (TEG) and the cardiology teaching lead for the Plymouth University Peninsula Medical School.
