Patient Support Team

Peninsula Heart Clinic has a dedicated patient support team to provide our patients with a smooth and stress-free experience.

The team is organised to engage with patients and manage all the important issues involved in their outpatient investigations or inpatient treatment.

Our staff are committed to providing you with the highest level of service and care in a way that meets your individual needs. To this end, we regularly review our services to see where and how we can make improvements.

Car Parking

Directly in front of our heart clinic is a 6 bay, free to use car park for our patients’ convenience.

We recommended patients or visitors park in this car park as this is the closest to the heart clinic. Parking is also available in a number of car parks across the Derriford hospital campus. If you park in the large multi-storey (Bircham) car park it is a short walk down the road past the maternity centre on the left to the heart clinic. Alternatively, you may wish to follow signs to the main entrance where there will be signposting. If you are a private patient visiting our outpatients suite or being admitted for a planned procedure, please contact our team.

We also provide a patient drop-off area consisting of 4 car parking spaces directly outside the clinic, but parking is limited in this area to 15 minutes. All our parking bays and drop-off areas have CCTV coverage and are controlled by parking wardens.

We believe the best cardiac care can only be achieved by the best cardiologists in their fields, working together, for you and your heart. Our consultants are able to offer appointments throughout the week and at weekends.

Directions by Car

From roundabout on A386 take exit signposted Derriford Hospital. As you enter the main entrance you will see a ‘Peninsula Heart Clinic’ sign directing you to the right hand side of the main hospital. You will see the orthopaedic centre directly ahead with the multi-story car park on the right hand side. Follow the the downward slope of this road past the multi-storey with the ‘Maternity centre’ on your left. You will see the ‘Freedom Unit’ building at the end of this road and next to this you will see the ‘Peninsula Heart Clinic’. Directly next to our heart clinic is a 15 bay pay and display car park, this includes 4 disabled parking spaces. Parking is also available in a number of car parks across the Derriford hospital campus.
