Peninsula Heart Clinic offers fast access to treatment for a range of heart conditions. We welcome patients choosing to pay for their treatments, who might not have private medical insurance or wish to avoid long waiting lists.

Most of the treatments and services we offer have little or no waiting time, making it more convenient for you.

We provide the highest standards of consultant-led care – nothing less than you’d expect – so you can be back to normal and get on with life as quickly as possible.

If you are self-funding your care, you will have access to leading cardiologists and other specialists to help you every step of the way. We’ll aim to get you an appointment with the right consultant within 48 hours of your enquiry.

Some consultants will require a GP referral, but we can assist with this too. If in doubt on whether you require a referral letter, do give us a ring and they will be more than happy to explain the process. For most patients, the cost of your treatment can be fixed*, giving you peace of mind and transparency of cost. These costs are subject to regular review to ensure cost-effective care. We accept all major credit and debit cards, cash and cheques (cheques must be cleared before admission).

You’ll always have an option of appointment times, so just let us know what option best suits you. Following your consultation, if onward treatment is advised, we’ll get in touch with a fixed-price quotation for any procedure. If you’re using private medical insurance, we’ll give you all the information you need to confirm details with your insurer, including your procedure code.
